FORT WORTH, Texas — Country music star Pat Green says his brother, sister-in-law and two nephews are among the more than 160 people reported missing in the deadly flooding in the Texas Hill Country.

“Over the weekend, during the devastating flooding that hit central Texas, my family — like so many others — suffered a heartbreaking and deeply personal loss,” Green says in a post on social media. “We are grieving alongside countless Texans whose lives have been upended by this tragedy.”

The singer’s wife, Kori Green, confirmed in another post that it was Green’s brother and his family who were missing.

“We are so thankful for the outpouring of love and concern,” Kori Green says in the post. “Pat’s little brother John, his wife, Julia, and two of their children were swept away in the Kerrville flood. We are heartbroken and anxiously waiting for all of them to be found. Thank you for your prayers.”

Reports say the family’s third child, an 8-year-old girl, was away at another summer camp and was not affected by the flood.

More than 100 people were killed in the flooding along the Guadalupe River on the Fourth of July.

The lowlands of Kerr County along the river, where most of the victims of the flash flooding have been recovered so far, are filled with youth camps and campgrounds, including Camp Mystic, the century-old all-girls Christian summer camp where at least 27 campers and counselors died.

Pat Green was scheduled to perform Saturday in Luckenbach, Texas, but the show was postponed, KHOU Channel 11 reports. He says in his post that his family is seeking privacy as “we mourn, support each other, and begin to process what comes next for our family.”

The Dallas Morning News reports Green is scheduled to perform on Aug. 15 in Fort Worth, but it’s unclear if the show still will be held.
