WILLOUGHBY, Ohio — Downtown Willoughby is turning Erie Street into a foodie playground Saturday, Sept. 27 with the return of the Mac N Cheese Throwdown DTW Shuffle.

Launching from the Garage Bar on Vine Street, participants can check in between 12:30 and 3 p.m. They can then spend the afternoon sampling creative mac and cheese dishes at 12 local venues. Each stop includes a 3-ounce tasting and a discounted cocktail made with Tito’s Vodka cocktails. Retail discounts and limited-edition Shuffle swag will be available. The event wraps up at 5 p.m.

This year’s participating restaurants include:

  • Ballantine
  • Barrio Tacos
  • Erie + Vine
  • Frank and Tony’s Place
  • Garage Bar
  • Geraci’s
  • Nora’s Public House
  • Sage Karma Kitchen
  • Sol
  • Westel’s
  • Wild Goose
  • Yard on 3rd

Guests are asked to vote by text for their favorite mac and cheese creation.

Tickets are $39.19. They include entry, an event passport and mac and cheese samples at all stops.

In addition to being fun, the DTW Shuffle supports a cause. A portion of proceeds will benefit W.A.G.S. 4 Kids, a Northeast and Central Ohio nonprofit that trains and places service dogs with children who have disabilities.
