Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band will bring their “Land of Hope and Dreams American Tour” to arenas across the country this spring, including a stop at Rocket Arena on May 22. This will be the only Ohio stop on The Boss’s upcoming tour.
Tickets for the show go on sale at 10 a.m. on Saturday, February 21 at seatgeek.com,.
Springsteen, who’s never been shy with his political opinions, recently released a single called “Streets of Minneapolis,” protesting ICE’s occupation in the city.
As for the tour, Springsteen framed it in explicitly political terms, calling it a celebration and defense of American institutions.
“We are living through dark, disturbing and dangerous times, but do not despair — the cavalry is coming,” Springsteen said in the release.
“We will be rocking your town in celebration and in defense of America — American democracy, American freedom, our American Constitution and our sacred American dream — all of which are under attack by our wannabe king and his rogue government in Washington, D.C. Everyone, regardless of where you stand or what you believe in, is welcome — so come on out and join the United Free Republic of E Street Nation for an American spring of Rock ‘n’ Rebellion! I’ll see you there!””
The tour follows successful European dates in spring 2025, where Springsteen and the band performed for more than 700,000 fans. The group released a “Land of Hope and Dreams” EP recorded from their opening night in Manchester, England.
The E Street Band includes Roy Bittan, Nils Lofgren, Patti Scialfa, Garry Tallent, Stevie Van Zandt, Max Weinberg, Soozie Tyrell, Jake Clemons and Charlie Giordano. They will be joined by The E Street Horns and The E Street Choir, along with Anthony Almonte on percussion.
