CHAGRIN FALLS, Ohio — Shopping strategists who enjoy food and drink while finding a “steal” — may want to check out the Chagrin Valley Chamber of Commerce’s “Sip and Shop” this weekend in Chagrin Falls.

The fusion of food, drink, and retail is this Saturday, November 8, from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. Tickets are $35 and are still available at the Chagrin Valley Chamber of Commerce’s website.

Included in the $35 ticket is a tasting cup, an exclusive shopping passport that includes deals from local merchants, a swag bag, and a chance to win prizes throughout the event.

Not only will attendees participate in retail therapy before the holiday season — they will also have a chance to give back to the community as the Chagrin Falls Park Community Center will collect canned goods at each check-in station.

Each participating retailer or restaurant will offer samples of a beer, cocktail, or mocktail. With each purchase, a stamp will be added to the shopping passport for a chance to win prizes.

Those exclusive deals at local Chagrin Falls merchants include a percentage off purchases, a free gift with purchase, or buy one get one free.

Currently, approximately 25 retailers and 4 restaurants are participating in the rain or shine event.

An added bonus this year is that the Main Street Bridge is now open, making travel easier for deal-seekers.

Tickets for “Sip and Shop” are available at the CVCC website — www.cvcc.org.
