WASHINGTON, D.C. — Republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia and longtime partner Brian Glenn, a conservative broadcast journalist, are engaged to be married, Glenn announced on X Monday.
Glenn wrote, “She said ‘yes,’ while Greene, 51, retweeted the announcement and wrote, “Happily ever after!!! I love you @brianglenntv !!!”
According to People, the 56-year-old Glenn, who serves as a correspondent for the network Real America’s Voice, announced he plans to support Greene’s next chapter as she prepares to resign her congressional seat in early January.
The magazine said the couple met in 2022 and began dating publicly in 2023 after both ended previous marriages. Greene’s announcement comes as she distances herself from President Donald Trump following policy disagreements and his withdrawal of political support.
Greene has said she intends to resign from her House seat effective Jan. 5, 2026.
Greene, first elected in 2020, quickly became known for her far-right movements, frequent clashes with both parties and her strong support for Trump. Greene has served on committees ranging from Oversight to Homeland Security, though she was stripped of earlier assignments in 2021 following controversy over past statements.
