CHICAGO, Illinois — Shamrock season has officially returned to McDonald’s, as the fast-food giant announced that two of its mint-flavored favorites are back on menus nationwide starting Tuesday.
The seasonal Shamrock Shake and OREO Shamrock McFlurry have made their annual comeback, signaling the approach of St. Patrick’s Day and the limited-time return of the chain’s signature green treats.
The Shamrock Shake, a longtime menu staple, features vanilla soft serve blended with mint-flavored syrup and finished with whipped cream.
For customers looking for a dessert with added crunch, the OREO Shamrock McFlurry combines vanilla soft serve and mint syrup with crushed OREO cookie pieces mixed throughout.
McDonald’s said the items will be available for a limited time at participating restaurants nationwide, though the company did not specify an end date.
