Two injured in Italian Village shooting

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — Two people were hospitalized early Sunday morning after being shot in a north Columbus neighborhood.

According to a police dispatcher, officers were sent to the 300 block of East 1st Avenue in the Italian Village neighborhood just before 4:45 a.m. Two people were found suffering from gunshot wounds.

Each victim was taken to a hospital and conditions are unknown at this time, per a police dispatcher.

No suspect information is available at this time.
