The Plain Dealer recently endorsed Allison Russo in the Democratic primary for Ohio Secretary of State. I was a lead for the anti-gerrymandering campaign for Fair Districts and strongly support Dr. Bryan Hambley as the Democratic nominee. Bryan believes that Rep. Russo made a mistake by voting with the Republicans for gerrymandered state districts that gave the Republicans an unfair advantage over the Democrats. Gerrymandering is cheating, and Bryan Hambley knows that gerrymandered districts hurt all Ohioans.
Bryan, a cancer doctor from Cincinnati, launched his campaign on Jan. 2, 2025, and through grassroots fundraising, has raised almost $1 million, participated in over 375 events, and has campaigned in almost 80 of Ohio’s 88 counties. He is the only candidate in the race who has refused to accept any corporate PAC money.
